JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
Operate and maintain the transmission network and its related services to achieve and maintain service stability, network performance, availability and customer satisfaction.
Duties & Responsibilities:
1- Carry out preventive maintenance as per plan for transmission network elements and facilities.
2- Conduct Level 2 support for escalated network problems and customer complaints.
3- Produce and keep up-to-date documentation covering records and periodic reports.
4- Contribute in the service implementation cycle covering service provisioning, activation, and delivery.
5- Carry out assigned tasks related to planned activities.
6- Provide support to other teams as needed.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor degree in Telecommunications
- Working knowledge of SDH and DWDM technologies.
- Good command of English (Written & Spoken)
- Computer skills.
- Minimum 2 years hands on experience in optical transmission networks.
