Overview of the role

To ensure proper planning, coordination, and optimization of vehicle movement and servicing within the automotive yard. The role is responsible for maintaining an efficient workflow, ensuring timely vehicle dispatch, and facilitating effective communication between the yard, suppliers, service providers, and customers—all while upholding safety and compliance standards within KSA.

What you will do

  • Maximize the use of SAP in all daily transport planning activities to ensure system integrity and exceed customer service level expectations.
  • Maintain a clear understanding of customer lead times and required KPIs, ensuring accurate and timely execution.
  • Ensure maximum fleet utilization and effective resource control while maintaining optimal efficiency levels. Monitor fleet availability and allocate vehicles based on priority, service needs, and customer requirements.
  • Track fleet running costs and fuel consumption. Identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions where needed.
  • In collaboration with the QA team, work to reduce accidents and damages across the supply chain, with special focus on new units delivered by car carriers and incidents involving heavy vehicles.
  • Ensure accurate and timely submission of all billing inputs.
  • Conduct regular toolbox training sessions with HV drivers to maintain high standards of vehicle handling and driving performance. Identify operational bottlenecks and recommend process enhancements.
  • Prepare required monthly reports including trip allowance reports, vehicle offload reports, overtime allowance reports, car carrier allowance reports, payroll reports, petty cash reports, and any other relevant documentation.

About the team

You will report directly to the transport manager and work closely with a range of internal and external stakeholders.

Required skills to be successful

  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills – to assess fleet performance, identify inefficiencies, and implement effective operational improvements.
  • Excellent communication and coordination abilities – to manage clear, timely interactions with drivers, internal teams, suppliers, and service providers.
  • Proficiency in SAP and transport management systems – to ensure accurate planning, tracking, and documentation.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills – to manage reports, scheduling, compliance requirements, and daily operational tasks efficiently.

What qualifies you for the role

  • Bachelor’s degree in any discipline
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role (transport planning, warehousing)
  • Strong operational and process-oriented mindset
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
