JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Treasury Accountant to join our dynamic team in the banking industry in Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the organization’s treasury functions, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, and optimizing cash management processes. This role is crucial for maintaining financial stability and supporting strategic financial decisions within the organization. Responsibilities:
- Manage daily cash balances and forecast cash needs to ensure adequate liquidity for the organization.
- Prepare and analyze cash flow statements to identify trends and variances for better financial management.
- Oversee the processing of treasury transactions, including fund transfers, checks, and reconciliations.
- Monitor and report on financial market trends that may impact treasury operations and liquidity.
- Collaborate with various departments to optimize the company’s cash position and investment strategies.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies related to treasury activities.
- Support the preparation of treasury-related reports for management, including variance analysis and performance metrics.
- Assist in the management of banking relationships and negotiate terms to achieve optimal financial outcomes.
- Participate in audits related to treasury operations and provide necessary documentation and explanations.
- Continuously improve treasury processes and systems to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field;- Minimum of 1 years of experience in treasury accounting or a similar financial role within the banking industry.
- Strong knowledge of treasury management principles, cash flow forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Proficient in financial software applications and advanced Excel skills; familiarity with ERP systems is a plus.
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy in financial reporting.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present financial information clearly to stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing financial environments.
Salary:
SAR
15,000 to 16,000
per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
