JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
Aquila Consulting's highly recognised client are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Urban Planning Architect to join their team based on the iconic AlUla project in KSA.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and implementing design plans for the AlUla projects, including residential, commercial, and industrial spaces. You will work closely with project managers, engineers, and other architects to ensure that projects meet client needs, are delivered on time, and are within budget.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement design plans for urban planning projects, including site analysis, feasibility studies, and concept design.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other architects to ensure that designs meet client needs and are within budget.
- Work closely with local authorities to obtain necessary permits and approvals for projects.
- Conduct site visits and surveys to gather data and assess project feasibility.
- Prepare and present design proposals and reports to clients and stakeholders.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks to meet project deadlines.
- Maintain knowledge of industry trends, regulations, and best practices.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or Urban Planning from an accredited university.
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in urban planning, architecture, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of urban design principles and practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks to meet project deadlines.
- Familiarity with local zoning regulations and building codes.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
