JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
- A leading company in the food processing industry is seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to oversee and optimize warehouse operations.
- The Warehouse Manager will manage all aspects of commodity handling, inventory control, and stock movement while ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Key responsibilities include developing and enforcing warehouse procedures for storage, packaging, and dispatch; managing inventory levels and accuracy; and implementing continuous improvement strategies to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
- The role also involves coordinating with various departments, ensuring a secure and safe working environment, and leading a team of warehouse staff to meet operational goals.
- The successful candidate will play a crucial role in optimizing warehouse space and managing departmental budgets to align with strategic objectives.
Requirements:
- The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting, business administration, or a related field, with at least 10 years of relevant experience in warehouse and inventory management, preferably within the food and beverage industry.- An MBA in Finance or Supply Chain is an advantage, along with certifications such as CMA.
- Strong leadership and team management skills are essential, as well as expertise in warehouse management systems and inventory control.
- The candidate should possess excellent analytical abilities, attention to detail, and be proficient in spreadsheets and databases.
- Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to continuous improvement are necessary, along with the flexibility to travel and work across various company locations as needed.
