JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

REQUIREMENTS

- First class Graduate in any discipline (Computer Science preferred) from a reputed university with a good background of software development and IT experience of around 10+ years.
- Inclination to understand and learn application/business functionality
- Good communicator, fast learner & a Team player
- Attention to detail, disciplined and reliable
- High motivation and confidence levels
- Telecom Knowledge will be an advantage

Domain / Technical
- Has worked as a webMethods architect at least in 2-3 large size projects end to end experience in said technologies.
- Good understanding of software development life cycle and Agile/iterative methodology.
- Prior experience in offshore-onshore development/maintenance projects
- Ability to perform technical analysis, design and identify impacts (functional/technical)
- Proven expertise in writing ‘good’ code & experience in multi-tiered development projects
- Understanding of webMethods administration parameters for performance tuning
- Strong understating of canonical
- Exposure to current product releases and new features therein in webMethods Tool stack
- Experience with building or using standard frameworks , understanding of design patterns, Knowledge of performance & security aspects for a EAI design. Knowledge of sizing and capacity planning.
- Technical competency in the following:
- Proficiency & varied experience in J2EE
- Understanding of Service Oriented architecture concepts and ESB, BPEL, BPM, Message Oriented Middleware
- Web services, SOAP 1.1/1.2, UDDI, WS-Security etc.
- Enterprise Architecture frameworks such as TOGAF or Zachman a plus. Experience in EAI a must
- Proven skills in Integration server, Broker, Nirvana, Designer, Deployer, CentraSite, Mediator, Command Central, Trading Networks.
