JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

Be a part of our International Consultancy business that spans our five global hubs, where we oversee work for world leading organisations across the public and private sectors.

Based in Nitra, Slovakia, as part of the senior management team responsible for the delivery of a large complex facility, for a world leading client organisation.

Responsibilities Include:
• Responsible for planning and implementation of all project activities and oversight of the contractors and supply chain partners.
• Ensure processes for thorough and timely sub-contractor mobilisation starting with pre-start meetings.
• Oversee the contractor\'s and all construction and contracts relating to their work.
• Review and accept related project delivery plans submitted by contractors.
• Ensure field activities are planned and mobilised to meet the programme.
• Responsible for weekly and monthly reports, as well as issuing and maintaining performance and KPI indicators.
• Endeavour to identify potential programme issues before they arrive to enable mitigating actions.
• An understanding of the design obligations of the designers and contractors.
• An understanding of the design document and drawing approvals processes to understand what documents are approved for construction use.
• Ensure design decisions are not taken \"in the field\" by the client or contractors but are considered and approved via a formal process.
• Ensure key daily records are robustly maintained, including the input of relevant photographs to Site Diaries.
• Understand and fully implement project procedures for all contractors.
• Provide advice to project teams on planned logistics arrangements and contractual matters.
• Produce informative, concise reports.

REQUIREMENTS

• Degree Qualifications is preferred but not essential.
• Professional Memberships are an advantage but not essential.
• Broad knowledge of construction techniques with high technical expertise across their specific types of construction and forms of contract.
• Good working knowledge of the NEC ECC and FIDIC contracts.
• General understanding of design obligations under CDM Regulations - along with an understanding of the document and drawing approvals processes.
• In-depth knowledge and experience Construction Methods and sequences.
• Excellent organisation, management and commercial skills.
• Good working knowledge of commercial; principles affecting construction matters.
• Extensive working knowledge in the delivery of large complex projects.
