JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
Our company is in the process of establishing offices for an international courier company and requires Branch Managers. Responsibilities include the but are not limited to the following:
* Establish a new office
* Recruit, train, and manage a team of approximately 15 employees
* Develop, implement and process reports
* Ensure day to day operational activities are carried out on a timely basis
* Develop and monitor operational KPI's to ensure a consistently high service level in support of the business
* Ensure compliance of shipments when it comes to documentation and liaise with broker on all customs formalities
* Develop budgets and monitor Operational costs with regards to all Day to Day activities
* On-going client communication
REQUIREMENTS
Candidate must have the following:
* Bachelors degree in Business Administration or related field.
* Minimum 3 years experience in a similar role
* Preference will be given to those with previous experience working for ARAMEX, FEDEX, DHL
* Excellent verbal and written skills in English. French as a second language would be a bonus.
* Experience managing a large team in a similar position
