JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled 3D Modeler with expertise in Glass Reinforced Concrete (GRC) and Glass Reinforced Plastic (GRP) detailing work. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience utilizing software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and Rhino for precise and accurate drafting in architectural and construction projects.
Responsibilities:
• Prepare 3D models of GRC panels based on 2D layouts / elevations/ sections.
• Prepare GRC production drawings from 3D models.
• Prepare Sheet sets in Revit for 2D shop drawing submissions.
• Annotation in Revit for 2D details.
• Prepare family based 3D models for GRC panels & items with accurate details and fixing brackets.
• Customize the properties of 3D element of GRC by adding identity data & more parameters.
• Shared family creation.
• Project browser creation & customization.
• Exporting and importing CAD/IFC/Rhino Formats in to Revit.
• Managing visibility graphics overrides & linking models for coordination.
• Navisworks for clash detection.
• Working on central file & good knowledge of collaborating / worksets
• Sectioning and unrolling in in Rhino.
• Develop 3D models from 2D details in Rhino.
Salary:
AED
8,000 to 10,000
per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
REQUIREMENTS
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Architecture, Engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience (5 years) working as a Draughtsman, with a focus on GRC and GRP detailing.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and Rhino software, with a strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in architectural drafting (2D drawings / 3D models- Shop drawings & Production drawings).
• In-depth knowledge of GRC and GRP materials, manufacturing processes, and construction techniques.
• Strong understanding of building codes, regulations, and industry standards relevant to GRC and GRP applications.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams.
• Detail-oriented approach with a commitment to delivering high-quality work on time and within budget.
• Problem-solving abilities and a proactive attitude towards addressing technical challenges in drafting processes.
