Job Description

AC Technician
You perform highly diversified duties to maintain in good working order all Air Conditioning & Refrigeration equipment in the building and to work with a team spirit to ensure that all hotel guest rooms, other facilities and equipment are working in good condition.

- Need to fully understand the principles of Refrigeration & Air Conditioning and apply them in practice.
- Need to do regularly inspect air conditioning compressor units and effect maintenance and repairs as necessary.
- Required to maintain charging equipment, refrigeration test equipment and A/C tools in good condition.
- Ensure cleanliness of work areas and protection of the surrounding area when executing jobs.
- Need understand control principles of all A/C systems and regularly test, repair and calibrate.
- Need to verify building area temperatures and adjust as necessary and record on the plant log sheet.
- Required to complete major and minor services on A/C, Refrigeration equipment as assigned and return the completed job sheets to the Engineering Office.
- Learn and carry out fire brigade duties when assigned.
- Required to complete the personal daily job record, time book accurately and keep ready for inspection.
