JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the financial accounts of the Company, and its branches and subsidiaries for which the Company has principal management responsibilities. He/she will be organizing and executing all activities associated with the accounting function such as general ledger maintenance, chart of accounts, financial statements, etc.
REQUIREMENTS
University Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in accounting, finance or banking
Other certifications obtained: Qualified member of an accountancy body or holder of an equivalent qualification is a must
Nature and length of previous experience: 2 to 3 years accounting experience in a related working environment or a Big 4 firm with bank and real estate audit experience is necessary
Skills and abilities:
• Good technical skills and knowledge of IAS/ IFRS standards.
• Strong Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (with ability to run Macro’s etc), Word and PowerPoint, and experience in Oracle Financials.
• Oral and written English communication skills.
