JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
- Responsible for local bookkeeping and making sure all accounting entries are booked in accordance with IFRS
- Inputting standard accounting entries into the appropriate accounts and maintenance of ERP info paying close attention to the cost centres used in conjunction with management control
- Integrating payroll
- Ensuring that the accounting information in financial statements is reported correctly in the consolidation tool
- Investigate any discrepancies in accounts and take necessary actions
- Perform detailed monthly PL analysis with respect to sales, margin, overheads, CAPEX, etc and provide other information and analysis based on management requirements
- Ensure compliance with the Group’s financial regulations
- Preparing monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements (analysing accounts and closing entries: cut-off, exchange rate variance, provisions, auxiliary/general accounting reconciliation, asset tracking)
- Preparing fiscal declarations to Tax Authorities (VAT)
- Preparing accounting and fiscal documents at year-end: tax return, appendices and others
- Participating in annual updates to legal documents: draft resolutions, management report, salary declarations, proof of sponsorship, Board of Directors report, letter on regulated conventions
- Assist with information research within the context of audits and government inquiries
- Constantly review and update internal controls when necessary or lacking
- Liaise with external and internal auditors
-Coordinate whole process of Budget and reforecast ensuring on time delivery of budget package/reforecast.
-Coordinate and assist HR manager on Payroll, Insurances, Leaves (VL and SL)
-Assist General & Admin Manager
- Any other matters that may be required at the request of Local, Regional or Group Management
REQUIREMENTS
- Must be CPA or equivalent qualifications
- Minimum 5 year experience on end to end accounting process in UAE setting
- With experience on ERP financial package
- Extensive experience in Variance and Gross Margin Analysis
- Experience in Budgeting and Forecasting
- Will be able to handle multi-level reporting and liaising with other company departments/section
