Company Overview: Our client is a renowned company of UAE that specializes in structural steel products for residential, commercial, and industrial projects. They are seeking a talented and experienced Accountant to join their team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring our financial operations are well-organized and compliant, particularly in the construction industry.
• Preparation of Financial Statements: Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, to provide insights into the company's financial health.
• VAT Filing: Manage and execute VAT filing and compliance processes, ensuring adherence to all tax regulations and deadlines.
• Petty Cash Handling: Responsible for maintaining and reconciling petty cash funds, ensuring proper documentation of expenses and compliance with company policies.
• Overseas Procurement: Collaborate with relevant departments to oversee international procurement processes, ensuring cost-effective and compliant procurement of construction materials and equipment.
• Documentation for External Audit: Prepare and maintain financial documentation required for external audits, liaising with auditors to facilitate smooth and efficient audits.
• Documenting for Bank Facilities: Assist in the preparation and submission of financial documentation required for securing bank facilities, loans, and credit lines.
• Construction Industry Experience: Utilize your expertise in the construction industry to understand and address industry-specific financial challenges and opportunities.
AED 4,000 to 6,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of accounting and financial management experience in the construction industry.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
• Strong knowledge of VAT regulations and tax compliance.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong problem-solving abilities.
