Accountant

JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our team.

Responsibilities:
- Manage all accounting transactions and maintain accurate financial records
- Prepare and analyze financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
- Ensure compliance with local tax regulations and financial laws
- Assist in monitoring of project financial performance
- Process invoices, track expenses, and manage accounts payable and receivable
- Reconcile financial discrepancies and resolve any issues with vendors or clients
- Assist in the preparation of financial audits and support audit processes
- Contribute to financial forecasting and risk analysis

Salary:
AED 2,500 to 3,500 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.

REQUIREMENTS

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Proven work experience as an Accountant in the construction industry
- Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
- Familiarity with financial regulations and compliance requirements
- Proficiency in Quickbook accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Professional certification such as CPA or CMA is a plus
