Job Brief:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accountant Assistant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will assist in managing daily accounting operations, ensuring accuracy in financial records, and providing administrative support to the accounting department. Job Responsibilities:
• Assist in maintaining accurate financial records by entering and verifying transactions in the accounting system.
• Support the preparation of financial statements, reports, and budgets.
• Assist in reconciling accounts and resolving discrepancies.
• Process accounts payable and receivable transactions.
• Prepare, verify, and process invoices and expense reports.
• Track and follow up on pending payments and overdue accounts.
• Maintain organized records of financial documents, including receipts, invoices, and payment vouchers.
• Update internal accounting databases and systems with new data as necessary.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and local regulations.
• Assist in preparing documentation for audits and tax filings.
• Provide general administrative support to the finance department.
• Manage correspondence related to finance and accounts.
• Assist in organizing meetings and preparing presentations.

Requirements:
Job Requirements:
• Years of Experience: 1-2 years in accounting or finance-related roles.
• Educational Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent qualification).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Familiarity with accounting software such as QuickBooks, SAP, or similar tools.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Good communication skills for correspondence and support within the finance team.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
