JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

We are looking for a detail-oriented Accountant cum Admin to join our company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling both accounting and administrative tasks. This role requires someone who is organized, efficient, and has a strong understanding of financial management and office administration.

Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department
- Prepare financial statements and reports for management
- Handle accounts payable and receivable
- Reconcile bank statements and general ledgers
- Assist in budget preparation and expense management
- Maintain and organize financial records and documents
- Material purchase
- Process payroll and ensure compliance with government regulations
- Coordinate office activities and operations to secure efficiency and compliance with company policies
- Manage phone calls and correspondence (e-mail, letters, packages etc.)
- Support budgeting and bookkeeping procedures
- Create and update records and databases with personnel, financial and other data
- Track stocks of office supplies and place orders when necessary

REQUIREMENTS

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or relevant field
- Proven work experience as an Accountant with administrative responsibilities
- Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
- Hands-on experience with accounting software like QuickBooks
- Familiarity with office management procedures and basic accounting principles
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work under pressure
- UAE experience and knowledge of local regulations is a plus
