JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
Our client is seeking a highly capable Accountant who can manage end-to-end financial operations while supporting administrative and compliance requirements. The ideal candidate is experienced, self-sufficient, and committed to contributing to a long-term, stable role within the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily accounting operations, including bookkeeping, reconciliations, payables, receivables, and financial reporting.
- Ensure full compliance with UAE financial regulations, including DMCC requirements and free zone procedures.
- Handle administrative duties such as visa coordination and liaison with government/free zone authorities.
- Prepare accurate statements, reports, and documentation for audits, budgeting, and internal review.
- Coordinate effectively with customers and suppliers on payments, invoicing, and account queries.
- Maintain proper records and support month-end and year-end close processes.
- Assist with ad hoc administrative or operational tasks when needed.
- Uphold confidentiality, accuracy, and high professional standards at all times.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; ICAI qualification is highly preferred.- Proven post-qualification experience, ideally in the UAE.
- Minimum of 5 years of continuous residency in the UAE.
- Solid understanding of UAE compliance, DMCC regulations, and free zone administrative processes.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills; proficiency in Hindi is required to support operational interactions.
- Excellent organizational skills and a proactive, self-sufficient work ethic.
- Ability to handle diverse tasks and support cross-functional needs when necessary.
