Accountant - Marathi Speaker

JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

Our client, a prominent automotive company, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Marathi Speaker - Accountant to join the team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and update financial records, including ledgers, invoices, and receipts.
• Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, profit & loss statements, and cash flow reports.
• Handle accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
• Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow.
• Assist with VAT calculations, filings, and compliance with UAE tax regulations.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management.
• Process payroll and ensure compliance with WPS and labour laws.
• Assist with internal and external audits.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and legal regulations.
• Support budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Support IFRS Compliance / Corporate Tax regulations activities.

Requirements:
Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Professional certifications (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CMA) are a plus.
• 2-5 years of accounting experience, preferably in the UAE.
• Strong knowledge of UAE VAT laws and financial regulations.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, SAP, Zoho).
