JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
• Monitor project budgets, expenses, and financial performance.
• Track and reconcile project costs, invoices, and payments and submit appropriate invoices for payment.
• Collaborate closely with appropriate individuals to ensure projects stay on track financially.
• Communicate effectively with the management, consultants, contractors, vendors, suppliers.
• Ensure timely and accurate preparation of necessary financial statements, tax returns, audits, and other engagements.
• Ensure financial records are maintained in compliance with accepted policies and procedures.
• Work cohesively with other departments and co-workers as part of a team.
• Administrative works.
• Other accounting duties as deemed necessary.
REQUIREMENTS
• 7+ years of experience in real estate development or construction.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, demonstrating a solid understanding of job costs, real estate accounting principles, and financial statement preparation.
• Expertise in MS Excel
• Ability to effectively handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Strong attention to details
• Strong communication/correspondence skills
• Maintain confidentiality at all times.
