Accountant

JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

General Job Scope:
Perform the day-to-day processing of accounts receivable transactions to ensure that the Company’s finances are maintained in an effective, up to date and accurate manner, and in compliance with the Company’s policies.

Key Accountabilities:
• Maintain up to date billing system and generate tax invoices for customers.
• Prepare customer statements, manage payment collections and follow up payments due.
• Perform account reconciliations and generate aging reports.
• Resolve customer disputes in collaboration with the operations team.
• Monitor customer credit limits and coordinate with account managers and customers.
• Record daily bank, cash, and credit card receipts and post entries in accounting software.
• Manage cash and cheque collections, issue receipts and deposit into bank accounts.
• Monitor commission claims, invoice processing, ensuring timely follow-up on payments.
• Prepare and manage a list of commission payouts.

Requirements:

Experience and Skills:
• Minimum 5-Years UAE Experience.
• Qualifications: Graduate or Post-graduate in commerce/finance, CA Intermediate, ACCA.
• Experience in Zoho books, Tally or any other accounting software.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel functions.
• Strong Oral and Written English business Language Skills.
• Strong Organisational and Analytical Skills.
• Natural Team Player who is self-motivated and target driven.
