Fetchr continues to grow and we're looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to based in our Dubai HQ offices and play an integral part in driving and supporting Fetchr's financial reporting.

Your new role:

As our UAE Accounting Manager you will report into and work directly with the country Finance Manager. Your work will include the creation of Management reports, Investor reports, and Legal Compliance reports. These reports will provide visibility to senior management and investors to enable strategic financial decisions. Your compliance reports will ensure that we retain our business licenses and clear all audits. In addition, you will be able to guide the receivables and payables teams to optimize working capital, to ensure cashflow management, and maximize returns on investments for the company.

You'll be responsible for:

- Managing the Accounts Receivables and Payables teams, including training, developing and leading from the front.
- Achieving expert status on the country's financial statements
- Analyzing the financials from an audit perspective and clear the year-end financial audit. Maintaining compliance with postal authorities (assimilate and submit business data, generate, file, and pay timely postal levies)
- Management Reporting and assisting in developing and documenting business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
- Being the main point of contact with our banking partners and responsibility for improvements in our Accounting systems
- Intercompany Transactions and Consolidation with responsibility for the financial accuracy of financial reporting including expense and revenue accruals and reviewing the adherence to internal accounting guidelines.
- Collaborate with internal operational, back office and engineering teams to monitor and capture the day-to-day financial operations within the company.
- Verify and analyze VAT compliance of accounting entries on a transactional level. Ensuring accurate VAT and zakat filings
