JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

As an Accounts Assistant, you will play a crucial role in managing our financial documentation related to Letters of Credit and maintaining accurate bookkeeping records. This position requires a keen eye for detail, a strong grasp of financial principles, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare, examine, and manage documents for the issuance and settlement of Letters of Credit.
- Ensure accurate and timely bookkeeping, including but not limited to general ledger management, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
- Coordinate with financial institutions and internal departments to ensure smooth financial operations.
- Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings and report preparations.
- Maintain compliance with financial policies and regulations.

REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Proven experience in financial documentation and bookkeeping, preferably in a multinational environment.
- Strong understanding of Letters of Credit and international trade finance.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with accounting software.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
