JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

Logistics Responsibilities:
• Transfer Product volumes and shipping information into an excel data base.
• Logistics Coordination:
- Coordinate with inter-company suppliers
- Responsible to provide the customer with all the details regarding the loading and arrival of goods. (Including track & tracing shipments).
- Knowledge of documentation & cargo management practices within sea freight industry.
• Generate accurate reports of shipping movements. (Shipments departure and arrival details.)
• Performs any other duties as assigned or required.

Accounting Responsibilities:
• Posting and processing daily journal entries to ensure all financial business transactions are recorded in the ERP system.
• Manage physical count of the inventory, and report discrepancies from records.
• Keep track of the inventory movements and prepare the damages report.
• Prepares payments, disbursements, and perform reconciliations.
• Keep records of the weekly shipments (departures, arrivals, and transfers)
• File, maintain, and distribute documents accurately and in accordance with company’s policies.

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum 3 years’ experience with Sea freight Export and Import Documentation.
• Background in freight forwarding or ocean freight.
• Experience in Middle East import, especially UAE beneficial.
• Experiencing in updating ERP systems (data input). Efficiency is essential.
• Must be well organized and has attention to detail.
• The above complement of skills coupled with accounting background would be highly beneficial.
