JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Contract

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join our Client in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of accounts payable, ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices and payments, and maintaining good relationships with vendors and suppliers. This role is crucial to the financial health of our airline company and requires a dedicated professional with strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities:
- Process a high volume of accounts payable invoices and ensure accurate coding, matching, and timely payments
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies or issues
- Maintain updated records of all accounts payable transactions and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
- Communicate effectively with vendors and internal teams to resolve billing and payment inquiries
- Assist in month-end closing activities and provide support for financial audits
- Participate in process improvement initiatives to streamline accounts payable processes and enhance efficiency

REQUIREMENTS

- Immediately available
- Assessment in excel and word should be good
- AP background is required
- POs and matching of POs experience required
- Maintain updated records of all accounts payable transactions and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
- Communicate effectively with vendors and internal teams to resolve billing and payment inquiries
- Assist in month-end closing activities and provide support for financial audits
