Role Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Assistant Accounts Payable professional to manage vendor payments, maintain accurate financial records, and support the finance team in daily operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Process and manage accounts payable transactions accurately and on time.
• Verify invoices, purchase orders, and supporting documents.
• Maintain organized financial records and ensure policy compliance.
• Assist with month-end closing and reconciliations.
• Coordinate with vendors and internal teams on payment queries.
Requirements:
• Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, including 2 years in the UAE.• Accounting educational background is mandatory.
• Strong English communication skills.
• Prior real estate experience is an advantage.
• Maximum age: 35 years.
• Immediate or early joiners preferred.
• Must be available in Dubai on a canceled or employment visa.
Skills
• Accounts payable processing
• Invoice verification and reconciliation
• Vendor management and payment coordination
• Knowledge of accounting principles
• Experience with ERP/accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Tally, QuickBooks)
• Financial recordkeeping and documentation
• Month-end closing support
• Understanding of purchase orders & supporting documents
• Bank reconciliation
• Basic financial reporting
• Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, formulas)
Industry-Specific Skills
• Knowledge of real estate accounting processes
• Familiarity with project-based costing
• Understanding of property development financial cycles
• Experience handling contractor/vendor payments related to real estate
