JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Assistant to join our team in Dubai, UAE. The ideal candidate will provide administrative and clerical support to ensure the efficient operation of the office or department. The Assistant will undertake a variety of activities in the office ranging from filing and answering the phone to basic bookkeeping. The goal is to ensure that office operations are efficient and add maximum value to the organization.

Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the office.
- Answer and direct phone calls, manage and distribute correspondence.
- Perform data entry, maintain and update filing, inventory, mailing, and database systems.
- Schedule and coordinate appointments, meetings, and events.
- Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports.
- Order office supplies and research new deals and suppliers.
- Maintain contact lists.
- Assist in resolving any administrative problems.
- Run company’s errands to post office and office supply store.
- Provide general support to visitors.

Requirements:
- Proven experience as an assistant or in a relevant administrative role.
- Good understanding of office management and efficient working knowledge of office equipment, like printers and fax machines.
- Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS PowerPoint, in particular).
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task.
- High School diploma; additional qualification as an Administrative assistant or Secretary will be a plus.

Salary:
AED 2,000 to 6,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
