JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

The role of Administration Assistant supports the above endeavours, reporting to the Ethics & Quality Manager and assists in conducting administrative investigations to establish whether staff have breached internal policies and procedures globally. As part of the role, you will help improve the development of policies and measures through the tracking and reporting of cases, decisions and subsequent lessons learned.

To provide an overview of the role, you will assist in the investigation of major disciplinary issues, arranging and conducting interviews with stakeholders, keeping documented minutes and notes, gathering and recording information effectively and concisely, drafting letters and performance management documentation, and support the Ethics Committee with full administrative and project matters.

REQUIREMENTS

There is significant written reporting in this role and the gathering of research, hence written English grammar must be fluent. However, fluency in either Arabic, French, Portuguese or Dari would be extremely beneficial. The role demands a self-starter, capable of working independently and with initiative. The workload is large and can be extremely pressurized, managing multiple projects / issues at one time and attention to detail is vital.

Ideally candidates will have experience working within HR and /or the Humanitarian field and have dealt with the disciplinary process prior. Equally experience of working across African and Middle Eastern countries is required. The minimum education requirement is a Diploma in Legal Studies, Business or International Affairs, however, a Bachelors Degree is preferred.
