JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Aircraft Cleaner to join our team. The Aircraft Cleaner will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the aircraft and ensuring a high standard of hygiene and appearance. This role is essential to providing passengers with a comfortable and pleasant flying experience and to maintaining the safety and operational readiness of our fleet.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean and sanitize aircraft interiors including seats, seatbacks, tray tables, overhead bins, windows, galleys, and lavatories.
• Vacuum carpets, sweep floors, and remove trash and debris.
• Restock supplies such as toiletries, headrest covers, and seat pockets.
• Ensure all areas are free of spills and stains.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines while performing cleaning tasks.
• Use cleaning chemicals and equipment in accordance with safety instructions and company policies.
• Report any damages, maintenance issues, or irregularities observed during cleaning to the supervisor.
• Work closely with maintenance, ground staff, and other team members to coordinate cleaning schedules and tasks.
• Communicate effectively with team members to ensure efficient and thorough cleaning processes.
• Assist with other maintenance and cleaning tasks as required.
• Participate in training sessions and stay updated on new cleaning techniques and products.

Requirements:

Qualifications:
Education:
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Experience:
• Previous experience in cleaning or janitorial services preferred, especially in aviation or transportation sectors.

Skills:
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow detailed instructions.
• Good physical stamina and the ability to work in various weather conditions.
• Basic understanding of cleaning chemicals and their safe use.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.

Certifications:
• Ability to pass a background check and obtain airport security clearance.
