JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

The Airport Services Supervisor - Ramp & Terminal is an integral part of the ramp operation and takes a proactive approach in planning, communicating and executing strategies in creating a safe work environment whilst promoting on time performance. This requires good planning skills, close collaboration and efficient communication with ground handling partner, stakeholders, customers and colleagues.

Key Activities
- Lead, direct and motivate a team of ramp members on a daily shift basis.
- Demonstrate a proactive approach to maximising resources and gaining efficiency in a live operational environment.
- Improve the ramp handling by proactively managing service delivery standards and driving an on time performance culture
- Perform ramp quality and safety checks and put a corrective action plan in place
- Identify critical connections and implement the best course of action considering stand allocation, staff resources and baggage processing options.
- Report and investigate ramp hazards and occurrences as per flydubai procedures.
- Represent flydubai at daily GHA/FZ - Ramp & baggage Operational Performance meeting.
- Compile a daily ramp report providing accurate and factual information to your superior. Review shift information, identify trends and formulate improvement plans.
- Promote a continuous improvement culture
- Investigate and finalize airside delays

REQUIREMENTS

Minimum Qualification
- University degree or equivalent on the job experience

Experience
- Minimum of 3 years airline experience with sound knowledge in ramp and baggage handling
- Preferable load control experience

Knowledge / Skills
- Proficient in English language with the ability to communicate effectively in verbal and written channels
- Skilled in Microsoft Office, report writing and data interpretation.

Additional Requirements
