JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
Working within a University you will be responsible for communications and marketing copy; in areas such as production of material, translations, proof-reading and generally ensuring a very high level of work which is in line with the university guidelines and APA.
Responsibilities:
• Identify and produce multimedia content and print stories showcasing the academic research and innovation of the university
• Ensure all writing is audience-appropriate and to a very high standard and referenced accurately
• Create, develop and adapt copy for internal communication platforms
• Edit and translate communications English/Arabic, make editorial suggestions, improve readability and clarity of publications whilst preserving the original meaning and voice
• Create project style sheets for significant projects
• Contribute to the development of the editorial calendar
REQUIREMENTS
• Educated to Bachelors ideally Masters level
• Experience as working successfully as an Editor
• Native Arabic/exceptional English
• Experience of copyediting, proofreading, developmental editing, and substantive editing of authors’ writing, providing tactful and relevant feedback and improving writing to meet organizational standards.
• UAE National
