JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
A well –established firm in the UAE specializing in automotive aftermarket business is looking to recruit a senior sales professional to head their export business in the ME&A and CIS regions.
Responsibilities:
• Achieve sales objectives by developing and implementing a sales plan to penetrate new and existing markets.
• Drive regional sales and motivate the Sales team to deliver the highest levels of customer service
• Cascade, monitor and track regional sales revenues against targets and take the necessary steps to achieve targets if there are any shortfalls.
• Explore and maximize opportunities for increasing revenues through regional sales and grow booked export sales across different international regions/ markets.
• Implement policies and procedures for regional sales activities in order to protect revenues and profitability and prevent losses.
• Liaise with Brand Managers to ensure all the Company's brands/products are presented and promoted in line with brand guidelines
• Review and recommend customer profiles for entering into new contracts or renewal of contract
• Ensure price quotes are in line with Company's product price list and ensure any negotiations protect agreed profit margins
• Monitor adhoc sales orders to ensure on time deliveries and check service levels agreed with supply chain are being maintained
• Identifying and approve business travel requirements in line with Company policy
• Oversee all regional sales activities through regular reporting in order to analyse trends and make improvements
• Review performance of regional sales and report on brand/product contribution to sales revenues and identify reasons for profitability
• Control regional sales expenses to meet budget guidelines
• Set and agree individual goals for all direct reports and evaluate their performance.
REQUIREMENTS
• Must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or Marketing
• Minimum 8 years of experience in the automotive aftermarket sector with minimum 5 years in a managerial role.
• Hands-on experience in batteries and/or tires is mandatory and an understanding of the export business is highly preferred.
• You must be a results driven individual with excellent leadership, people management and decision making skills.
• Strong influencing /negotiation skills with a commitment to deliver excellent customer service.
• Must be fluent in English/ Arabic and fluency in either French or Russian desirable
