JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
Our client, a well-known institution is looking for a Translator who will be based in a military camp area in Abu Dhabi.
- Accurately convert messages into specified language (English or Arabic)
- Translate verbal messages simultaneously or consecutively and maintain the context, style and tone of the original message
- Compile materials to be used in translations including technical terms those used in legal settings
- Create glossaries and terminology database from those compiled materials
- Ensure that the translations retain their meaning and content of the original material
- Manage working schedule and meet deadlines
- Perform other administrative duties that maybe assigned as and when required
REQUIREMENTS
To be considered for this role, you need to meet the following criteria:
- Bachelor’s degree in languages or of a relevant major
- Strong fluency in Arabic language
- Able to work in a target driven environment
- Willing to be on a contract role for 2 years but renewable
