JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
We are looking for a highly skilled Architect with 10-15 years of experience to join our team. This role will focus on leading industrial and warehouse development projects from conceptual design through to technical execution.
• In this role you will lead the development of concept plans and detailed technical construction drawings using AutoCAD, ensuring all drawings meet regulatory standards for submission to local authorities.
• Produce high-quality 3D models and visualizations using SketchUp for project presentations and design development.
• Research, interpret, and apply local regulatory requirements, including building codes, car parking, landscaping, setbacks, national disability access standards, and ramp gradients.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, and contractors to ensure project objectives are met on time and within budget.
• Oversee the preparation of project documentation and ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.• 10-15 years of experience as a practicing architect, with a focus on industrial and commercial developments.
• Extensive experience using AutoCAD to produce detailed technical drawings.
• Proficient in SketchUp for 3D modeling and visualizations.
• Strong portfolio showcasing work in multi-dwelling, commercial, or industrial projects.
• In-depth knowledge of local building regulations and construction standards.
• Excellent communication and project management skills, with a proven ability to lead teams and collaborate effectively with various stakeholders.
