Stantec is currently looking for an Architectural BIM Technician to join our dynamic team and support a large office building complex projects. This project will have related functional and supporting facility buildings in Dubai.

As Architectural BIM Technician, you will be responsible / involved in:

• Attention to detail in terms of technical - be able to check and correct drawings prepared by other team members (BIM Modeler)
• Perform detailed models review to meet LOD 200, 300, 350 requirements.
• Perform BIM QA/QC process based on agreed checklists and standards.
• Play key role in Discipline drawings review based on approved BIM model.
• Assist the discipline engineer in BIM model information extraction including sketches, schedules, etc
• Experienced with BIM modeling activities of all Building Services requirements respecting internal process, project standards and industry best practices.
• Experienced with Revit project environment setup with respect to the Project BEP.
• Works under the direct supervision of the BIM Manager, Sr. A/E BIM Coordinator and is responsible for all the production and drafting tasks directly assigned to them by the BIM Manager or Discipline Manager.
• Providing a multi-disciplinary modeling assistance for the project team as assigned.
• Completing tasks within timelines and budgets respecting the team look ahead plans.
