Assistant Catering Manager up to 15k Aed for a Leading Luxury Hospitality Group in AUH
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Coordinate point-of-sale activity and guarantee the quality of service in line with the company standards
- Carry out your managerial tasks if necessary
- Occasionally undertake assignments or trips to other establishments
- Be available to work on specific one-off projects on request from your line manager and other departments
- Demonstrate versatility and carry out tasks in the department when needed
- Choose suppliers/service providers and negotiate contract conditions in accordance with stock referencing
REQUIREMENTS
- POSITION: Assistant Catering Manager
- SALARY: up to 9,000 AED as basic depending on experience and qualifications plus housing and other allowances
- HIRING COMPANY: Leading Luxury Hospitality Group
- LOCATION: Abu Dhabi, UAE
- AVAILABILITY: Can join immediately will be prioritized
- EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Full-time
CANDIDATE PROFILE:
- Open to any nationality preferably Arabic/European/Native English speakers
- Male/Female, 35 y/o and below
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Degree in catering/culinary management or any equivalent certification in hospitality management
- Proven work experience as Assistant Catering Manager in any similar catering industry or high-end French type of restaurant
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational, time management skills and decision making skills
- Ability to manage in a diverse environment with a focus on client and customer services
- Good business and commercial acumen
- Strong leadership and motivating skills including the ability to build strong relationships with customers and staff
- The ability to think quickly, work in stressful circumstances and stay calm in a crisis
- Extensive financial, budgeting and stock-taking skills
- Knowledge of food, food hygiene (including hazard analysis and critical control points) and food preparation
