Job Purpose

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Assistant Cook (Commi lll/Demi Cook) to join our dynamic team at Alpha Flight Services Restaurant Outlet in Sharjah Airport. The successful candidate will be passionate about culinary arts and dedicated to providing exceptional service in a customer-facing role, with a particular focus on sandwich preparation.

Responsibilities:

- Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner, providing excellent service and addressing any inquiries or special requests related to sandwich offerings.
- Prepare and cook high-quality dishes, with a focus on sandwich preparation, in accordance with the restaurant's standards and recipes.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workstation, ensuring strict adherence to food safety and hygiene standards.
- Collaborate closely with the team to ensure smooth and efficient operations, particularly during peak service hours.
- Assist in managing inventory levels and rotation of stock to minimize waste and ensure the freshness of ingredients.

REQUIREMENTS

Experience & Qualification

- Proven experience as a Commi lll or Demi Cook in a similar fast-paced restaurant environment.
- Fluent in English, with excellent verbal communication skills.
- Thorough knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and a passion for delivering high-quality dishes.
- Certification from a culinary school or relevant training programs would be a plus.
- Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays.
