Assistant Executive Housekeeper

JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Assistant Executive Housekeeper to support the Executive Housekeeper in overseeing the housekeeping operations of our facility. The ideal candidate will assist in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene to ensure a comfortable environment for our guests and staff.

Job Responsibilities:

- Assist the Executive Housekeeper in supervising and leading the housekeeping team, providing guidance, training, and support as needed.
- Ensure that cleaning schedules and standards are met consistently in all areas of the facility.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure cleanliness, hygiene, and compliance with established standards and procedures.
- Assist in monitoring inventory levels of cleaning supplies and equipment, coordinating timely replenishment as needed.
- Address guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints related to housekeeping services in a prompt and courteous manner.
- Assist in implementing corrective actions and performance improvement plans as necessary to enhance service quality.
- Provide ongoing training and development opportunities to housekeeping staff to improve their skills and performance.
- Stay informed about industry best practices, trends, and technologies related to housekeeping operations.
- Assist in the preparation and management of the housekeeping budget, monitoring expenses and identifying opportunities for cost savings.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless coordination of housekeeping activities and guest services.
- Communicate effectively with front desk staff to prioritize room cleaning and turnover based on guest needs and preferences.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations and standards.
- Assist in maintaining proper procedures for handling cleaning chemicals and equipment to ensure safety and efficiency.

Salary:
AED 3,000 to 4,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.

REQUIREMENTS

- 2-3 years of experience in housekeeping operations, preferably in a supervisory or assistant management role.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques, procedures, and equipment.
- Familiarity with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and evenings as needed.
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field is a plus.
