JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

Role Brief

As the "Senior Executive /Assistant Manager" -Finance for GCC Oasis Malls, you will oversee financial operations across the entire GCC region, encompassing UAE, Bahrain, Oman, and KSA territories. Your responsibilities include:

- Monthly Closing Activities: Ensure timely monthly closing activities by coordinating with shared services teams for Procure to Pay (P2P), Record to Report (R2R), and Cash to Cash (C2C) processes.
- Financial Reporting: Review day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring compliance with corporate policies including Financial Accounting and Reporting (FAR) standards. Prepare monthly and annual financial reports and presentations for senior management.
- Budgeting and Variance Analysis: Collaborate with Malls across GCC for budget preparation, analyzing historical data, identifying trends, and conducting variance analysis between budgeted and actual figures
- Management Information Systems (MIS): Prepare MIS and estimates for UAE Malls and coordinate with other territories for their respective malls and submit on time
- P&L: Prepare P&L reports for Oasis Malls GCC and Landmark Brands in the malls, ensure accuracy of the financials.
- Receivables Management and Reporting: Prepare comprehensive reports on receivables management for all malls across the GCC region. Data on outstanding receivables, aging analysis, and collection efforts for each mall
- Procure to Pay (P2P) Process: Oversee P2P process including vendor negotiations, purchase order and invoice approvals, and ensuring timely payments to vendors in adherence to defined authorities and controls.
- Vendor and Tenant Management: Liaise with leasing teams and tenants to ensure timely collection of overdue invoices and maintain positive vendor relationships.
- Statutory Compliance: Handle statutory compliance related to VAT rules and regulations, including quarterly filing of returns. Provide necessary assistance for smooth closure of statutory audits and preparation of group reporting packs for UAE Malls.
- Tenant Approvals: Conduct thorough analysis of new tenants proposed by the leasing team. Evaluate their financial viability, market potential, and compatibility with the mall's brand and target audience. Provide recommendations to the management based on your findings.
- Presentations for Senior Management: Develop and deliver monthly presentations to senior management, providing updates on key aspects of Oasis Malls -Leasing ( Head lease Status, lease renewals, and new leases), Marketing & Operations, highlighting any significant developments, challenges, or opportunities
- This role demands meticulous attention to detail, strong coordination skills, and an ability to navigate complex financial landscapes across multiple territories within the GCC region. You will be a key driver in ensuring financial stability and compliance for the Oasis Malls brand across the GCC.

- Chartered Accountant (Batch 2019 to 2021)
- Bachelors in Commerc
- Strong in Accounting & Finance
- Stakeholder Management Skills

- Advanced excel / PowerPoint Skills
- Experience of ORACLE, COGNOS is a plus
