JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
Our client, a leading company in the UAE is looking for an Assistant Manager, Risk Analytics to join their growing team in Dubai.
The main purpose of the role is to monitor the retail credit portfolios and to ensure that credit quality remains under control. In addition, to deliver and retain analytic projects for all retail products, to provide product performance reporting and credit risk analytics, including performance based on demographic and financial attributes. Finally, to participate in predictive modelling, scorecard validation, performance monitoring and to perform ad-hoc analytics.
The main responsibilities of the role include credit portfolio tendency analysis and forecasting, monthly provision calculation & migration monitoring, scorecard modelling, validation and performance monitoring, in addition to carrying out ad-hoc analytics.
REQUIREMENTS
• Degree educated in Banking/Finance or Mathematics/Statistics.
• A minimum of 3 years’ work experience in Banking/Financial Services.
• A minimum of 3 years in Credit Risk Management, MIS/Statistical analysis and modelling.
• Excellent SAS skills.
• Scorecard modelling experience.
• Excellent analytical skills and data presentation skills.
• Excellent report writing skills and in-depth awareness of local market dynamics.
• Strong project management skills.
