JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Assistant Mechanic Foreman to support our mechanical team in the UAE. This role involves assisting in supervising daily mechanical operations, ensuring quality workmanship, and promoting a safe and efficient work environment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on mechanical experience, strong leadership abilities, and a commitment to excellence.
Responsibilities:
• Assist the Mechanic Foreman in overseeing the daily operations of the mechanical team.
• Support in coordinating and supervising repair, maintenance, and installation tasks.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies on site.
• Help in managing and training junior mechanics and technicians.
• Monitor the quality of work and take corrective actions when necessary.
• Assist in maintaining tools, equipment, and inventory records.
• Report progress and issues to the senior foreman or management as required.
Requirements:
• Min 5 years of experience in heavy machinery maintenance and repair• Experience working in site workshops and supporting field operations
• Ability to work flexible hours and support urgent breakdowns when required
• Strong understanding of hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems
• Ability to supervise helpers and coordinate daily workshop activities
• UAE experience is preferred
• Valid UAE driving license is an advantage
