JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
Key Responsibilities:
• Communicate with our team in china office for productions and sourcing needs.
• Communicate with design team in Spain for developments and offers we will present to clients.
• Data entry and comments- confirmation of styles/ approvals/ fits/creating tech packs for supplier designs etc
• Timely sharing of tech packs, ai files, samples & swatches with suppliers for sample development.
• Communication with vendors on order status and follow up for outstanding Fit, Pre-production and top of production samples.
• Shipment follow-up with vendors & imports team
• Manage approvals on product, lab dips, handloom strikes off and styling along with buyer.
• Fits & test report follow up with Quality team
• Management of product grading library-recording best & worst sellers
• Prepare product/samples for weekly trade meetings with client , product reviews & laydowns, including capturing minutes of meeting
• Coordinating with china team on sampling and new offers to clients
• Range plan admin support
• Weekly recap email made and shared with all our international office.
• Understanding of sales/trade reports, evaluation
• Any other duties that maybe assigned by manager/department head from time to time for smooth running of the department.
REQUIREMENTS
University Qualifications: Bachelor degree , fashion design
Nature and length of previous experience: 1 year experience as an Assistant Merchandiser or Merchandiser
experience in fashion design
Language Fluency: English
Current Location: UAE only
