JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

•We are looking for an innovative Assistant Procurement Manager (stores) to lead our procurement team. You will spearhead the purchasing process from selecting suppliers to ensuring stock optimization, as well as provide guidance on sourcing and procurement processes.
•Our procurement manager will be a supply chain and logistics expert who will specialize in implementing cost-effective purchases of all goods and services, as required by the company. Ensuring quality control and adhering to the company’s policies and procedures on supply chain management will be some of your main priorities when carrying out this role.

Procurement Manager Responsibilities:
• Assist in sourcing and establishing relationships with suppliers for store-related products and services.
• Collaborate with suppliers to negotiate terms, pricing, and delivery schedules.
• Support inventory management efforts, including stock monitoring, replenishment planning, and minimizing overstock or shortages.
• Analyze inventory data to optimize stock levels and reduce costs.
• Maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts, and agreements.
• Collaborate on cost-saving strategies while ensuring quality standards are met.
• Ensure that procurement activities comply with company policies, industry regulations, and quality standards.
• Maintain effective communication with suppliers, internal teams, and managers regarding procurement needs and timelines.
• Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and new procurement technologies to improve performance and efficiency.

Salary:
AED 7,000 to 8,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, or business administration
• 3-5 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management.
• Experience in working with suppliers, negotiating contracts, and managing relationships.
• Proficient in maintaining procurement records and generating reports.
• Knowledge of compliance with policies, industry regulations, and quality standards.
• Analytical mindset for cost control, data analysis, and inventory optimization.
