JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

Purpose: To assist Directors and Managing Directors in the sourcing and executing of transactions

Key Roles and Responsibilities:
* Co-lead pitches and co-drive deal execution and deal meetings with confidence to achieve clients' objectives under the supervision of Directors and Managing Directors.
* Help refine new deal proposals / ideas for senior bankers
* Financial modeling, particularly for DCF and LBO transactions
* Sector and client research, particularly in terms of market and company comparable analysis
* Preparation and presentation of information memoranda, pitch books, presentations, prospectuses, fairness opinions (including valuation) and other forms of reports
* Prioritise and manage the expectations of senior bankers on deliverables
* Review and analyse financial and other information from multiple market data sources including FactSet and Thomson Reuters
* Train and coach analysts vis-à-vis their deliverables whilst managing work allocation between the junior team
* Carry out due diligence
* Ensure compliance to Group Operational Risk Policy, Anti-Money Laundering Prevention & Sanctions responsibilities and other relevant policies. Cooperate with the Money Laundering Prevention Officers (Unit, Business, and Country) to ensure compliance to internal and external controls and procedures for money laundering prevention

REQUIREMENTS

* Business or accounting related degree.
* MBA/ACA preferred.
* Experience in corporate credit analysis
* Strong credit appraisal and marketing skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial information.
* Sound understanding of TB and FM products.
* Excellent communication (written and verbal) and negotiation skills.
* Fluency in Arabic is a preference
