JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
This opportunity is with a government entity in Dubai.
As an Audit Manager, you are going to execute internal audit activities as per the internal audit plan approved by the Audit Committee. This position conduct assessments of the risks of the area under audit and identify and test the controls to mitigate the risks, any control weakness are properly reported and escalated and follow up on action plans in order to ensure that all internal controls are in place with minor supervision.
You will be assisting the Director – Operational Audit and Head of Internal Control in development of the annual audit plan, plan the audit assignments including objectives and scope and the audit approach and perform the allocated audit plan professionally and timely manner. You have to identify control gaps and execute implementation of the annual audit plan and other tasks in order to contribute in accomplishing the department objectives with minor supervision. The nature of the job requires effective coordination with the business owner for the area under audit within the company.
REQUIREMENTS
To be successful you would ideally possess 7 years of experience in the field of accounting and auditing and a holder of Bachelor degree in Accounting or related discipline from an accredited college / university and /or other certification related (CPA/CA/ACCA/CIA) (Preferred).
