JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
We are seeking a skilled AutoCAD Draughtsman to join our dynamic team in Ras Al Khaimah. The ideal candidate should have knowledge in AutoCAD and 3DMax and will be required to operate special marble cutting machinery or work in projects.
Responsibilities:
- Create detailed and accurate AutoCAD drawings and models based on project specifications and requirements.
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and project managers to gather necessary information and clarify design expectations.
- Review existing drawings and designs for adherence to project standards and specifications, making necessary amendments as needed.
- Ensure all drawings are updated with changes and are properly documented for tracking purposes.
- Assist in the preparation of project proposals, presentations, and technical documents related to drafts and designs.
- Maintain an organized database of drawings and revisions for easy access and efficient workflow.
- Monitor and report on project progress, providing relevant updates and addressing issues directly with the project team.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Draughtsman, specifically using AutoCAD software in a construction or engineering environment, in addition to 3DMax.- Strong understanding of engineering and architectural design principles, including building codes and regulations.
- Excellent technical drawing skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and communicate effectively with various stakeholders.
- Proficiency in other design software such as Revit, SketchUp, or similar is a plus.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- A degree in Drafting, Engineering Technology, Architecture or a related field is preferred.
Salary:
AED
2,000 to 2,500
per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
