Job Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough diagnostics and troubleshooting on vehicles, utilizing advanced tools and methodologies to effectively identify issues.
- Collaborate with suppliers and manufacturers to source quality materials and components, ensuring cost-effectiveness and reliability.
- Oversee vehicle assembly and modification processes, ensuring precision and quality control at every stage of production.
- Prepare detailed technical documentation, including design specifications and maintenance manuals, to aid in future repairs and service.
- Conduct performance testing on vehicles under various conditions, analyzing data to enhance efficiency and safety features.
- Assist in the development and implementation of preventive maintenance schedules for automotive fleets, optimizing overall vehicle performance.
- Provide expert guidance and training to junior technicians, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the team.
- Stay updated with the latest automotive technologies and industry trends, implementing innovative solutions to enhance vehicle design.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's degree in automotive engineering or a related field is essential for understanding complex vehicle systems.
- A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in automotive engineering or technical roles, preferably in the Tanzanian automotive landscape.
- Proficiency in English and Swahili is required to facilitate effective communication with clients and colleagues.
- Demonstrated problem-solving abilities, with a focus on analytical thinking and creativity in developing solutions.
- Physical stamina and dexterity to perform manual tasks and operate machinery safely and effectively.
