JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced B2B Sales Representative with a strong background in cross-border commodity trade. As a Sales Representative, you will play a vital role in driving our business growth and establishing lasting relationships with clients in the commodity trade industry.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base in the cross-border commodity trade sector.
- Identify potential clients, build a robust sales pipeline, and proactively engage with decision-makers to generate new business opportunities.
- Understand clients' needs and provide tailored solutions to meet their specific requirements within the commodity trade industry.
- Stay up-to-date with market trends, industry developments, and competitors' activities to identify new opportunities and mitigate potential challenges.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including operations, logistics, and finance, to ensure smooth and efficient execution of sales contracts and transactions.
- Prepare and present sales proposals, negotiate terms and conditions, and finalize contracts to secure profitable deals.
- Monitor sales performance, track key metrics, and provide regular reports to management on sales activities, achievements, and challenges.
- Continuously enhance product knowledge and industry expertise to effectively communicate the value proposition to clients and address their inquiries and concerns.

REQUIREMENTS

- Minimum of 3-5 years sales experience, regardless of formal educational qualifications.
- Strong understanding of cross-border trade dynamics, including import/export regulations, logistics, and documentation processes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to establish rapport with clients, negotiate effectively, and build long-lasting relationships.
- Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making abilities to overcome challenges and seize opportunities in a dynamic sales environment.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools to manage leads, track sales activities, and generate reports.
- Flexibility to travel as needed to meet clients and attend industry conferences or trade shows.
- Note: While a university degree is not mandatory, relevant sales certifications or industry-specific training would be advantageous.
