JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

A leading international furniture design and manufacturing business is seeking experienced sales candidates to join their growing team. Furniture sales experience is preferable however experience within interiors or a similar field would be of interest. The most important quality for the new hire is a tenacious, confident professional approach with proven experience of working to sales targets.

To be considered for the role you will be able to generate and deliver new sales and develop key trade relationships with high-end residential interior designers, Architects and Specifiers in the luxury interiors marketplace. Proactively manage existing clients delivering new sales and business development. Develop industry knowledge and develop a client base. Achieve personal sales targets and produce reports on business conversion. Identify and conduct weekly sales call opportunities, assisting clients on furniture specification and project details. Present proposals, written orders, communicating lead times and all relative information to client.

REQUIREMENTS

To be successful in the role you will have previous experience within a B2B Business Development/New Business/Sales Executive role. Commercial and technical ability to deliver projects. Strong awareness of contract furniture market and current trends is desirable. Furniture or interiors sales experience is preferable however candidates with experience of selling other luxury products on a b2b basis will also be considered. Organised and professional, capable of working on multiple projects simultaneously without compromising accuracy. Confident in face to face client presentations, able to secure and retain new business. Personable with excellent client relation skills, Excellent negotiation and closing skills. IT literate with experience in CRM/SAP systems.
