JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

Job description (Bid desk Specialist) – Reporting to Operations & Bid Director:

• Develop, manage and keep bidding library up-to-date including Company profile, proposal templates, CVs in alignment with each subsidiary requirement
• Capture all work samples for service delivery projects and manage reference list.
• Review RFPs thoroughly and prepare RFP summary sheet covering all RFP components, communicate deadlines, Q&A, response format, bid currency, validity, etc.
• Liaise with Technical SMEs per product line for technical proposal preparation and to provide costing and estimations and submit proposals as per customer RFP guidelines
• Maintain all rate cards related to standard services offered by Client and communicate any changes in alignment with Services Director
• Govern the pricing process according to authority matrix and ensure approvals are in place before proposal submission.
• Initiate and call for Opportunity Review Board for non-standard bids or bids that exceeds certain threshold to decide on bidding strategy
• Develop and maintain high-quality technical proposals templates for each product line in alignment with technical subject matter experts
• Develop and maintain high-quality commercial proposals templates that includes localized components (Taxations, terms and conditions, and payment terms)
• Primary contact with customer procurement systems and manage online proposal submissions
• Ensure registration with customer procurement and related vendors or suppliers if any for each bid
• Prepare the purchase request for tender fees. Identify or estimate contract value and orchestrate with finance for bid bond preparation
• Validate that Account and Opportunity are created before engaging. Validate CRM record revenue and Gross profit are matching with the proposal
• Maintain bid archive and documentation and ensure deal book is registered and have the latest version

REQUIREMENTS

• 5+ Years’ experience in similar role or Quality Assurance field
• Excellent command of English (Technical writing skills)
• Preference for IT industry
• Job location: Dubai
• Languages: Arabic / English / French
