JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

Responsibilities:
- Direct activities of supervision of Collections and minimize all form of current delays in collection cycle.
- Create on a weekly & monthly collections strategy to make sure targets are achieved.
- Able to conducts face-to-face and/or telephone/email negotiations and follow up with customer's senior contact personally about all forms of due/undue and future payment.
- Timely submission of AR statements to customer concerned department and secure the acknowledgement.
- Daily chasers and follow up on customer account from bill submission to payment collection.
- Prepare and establish a clear understanding of the customer payment cycle and invoicing processing flow and monitor it.
- Supports Ad-hoc queries and leads projects on local and/or regional level.
- Follow up banking requirement on LC swifts, cheque submission, liase with backend team, bonds submission with invoices.
- Work closely with Operations, Finance, Project Management & Sales function to ensure bills are approved on time and cash is collected in time.
- Develop strategies and provide recommendations on actions for escalated cases related to bill disputes, companies with cash flow issues, bankruptcy, non-responsive customers.
- Report timely to business the bill approval and collection progress in the assigned territory and customer's.
- Monitoring of behaviour of customers for payment releases.
- Participate to internal cash calls, update dashboard, report on time to internal stakeholders.

REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Working experience within a Project execution, finance, Cash Collection or Bill expeditor related field preferred (min 8 years).
- Experience in trading and project activity from Energy, Power, Electrical T&D industry is advantages.
- Experience as 3rd party collection agencies is mandatory.
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Commerce / Business Management mandatory.
- 50% time in travel meeting customers for bill and payment approvals
- Effective communication, receive delegation, strong negotiator and prioritization skills.
- Reliable and quality-oriented worker.
- MS Office, Business reports, spreadsheet & Smartsheet based skills is essential.
- Arabic speaking mandatory for KSA role, optional for GULF (in UAE) role.
- English language proficiency mandatory in reading, writing, and speaking.
- Awareness of local banking regulation in country.
